The goal of this campaign was to capture and preserve Americana. This would be achieved by creatively composing and lighting Iconic subjects while posing with vintage machines, all to create images that are photographed in the present to represent: days gone by, yesteryear, a vintage America. High speed flash sync would be utilized to dial down the white sky while a synced strobe light would put a directional push of light on the talent. Carefully composing for various background elements and avoiding background clutter was a visual obstacle to reduce as much time in post processing as possible. In post the image was desaturated overall with special attention to very specific colors for the final look of American Nostalgia.
